Panama'

Panama is one of my favorite destinations. I am even considering moving to Panama, one day! They use the US dollar, and it's very modern compared to other Central American counties. They also have an excellent Visa program for retirees, and great medical care.

Panama has a West Coast and East Coast. I prefer the Atlantic Ocean / Caribbean side because the water is blue. If you ever go to Panama you have to make time for Bocas Del Toro, or at least San Blas.

Flights to Panama from the US, are around $500 round trip. Lodging is very easy to find from $30 to $1000s a night. It all depends on what your budget is. My go-to Hotel is always Hotel Marbella I can walk to everything I need, it's a safe area and I am close to the Metro. Selina Casco Viejo is nice, but you are bordering the hood.
